The Cuban poet activist Josè Marti’s powerful poem about creating something of beauty for both those who love you and those who do not, guides this effort. “Young woman of Mexico" is an earthwork that will be created on the border of The United States and Mexico to show support for incoming president Claudia Sheinbaun and the families who will be disrupted by the threats of mass deportation. Please help us make this statement of solidarity and support for all of our neighbors below the southern border.

The strength of these earthworks is a collaborative community effort with students, activists, artists, and humanitarians to create works that speak to our common embrace of humanity.
